Prayer Journey — Who Am I?

Who am I that you have brought me this far? You are the great I AM, but who am I? You knit me together in my mother’s womb. You gave me breath. You continue to shower me with grace and love. You patiently teach me and mature me. There are days I feel your gentle touch upon my life. Then there are days when I feel distant from you. Those are the days your gentle arms embrace me and tell me, “It’s okay. I’m here with you. I’ve always been here.” I am overwhelmed by your love; touched by your grace. Thank you dear Lord.

The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. – Zephaniah 3:17 (NASB)

Then David the king went in and sat before the LORD, and he said, “Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far? – 2 Samuel 7:18

I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” – Exodus 3:14

  1. Great post, God is so awesome that He knows us, he carefully thought about us and our purpose before we were born. He knows every detail about us even the number of hair in our head.
