Prayer Journey — Pursued

Where would I be without you dear Lord? Where would I be without you in my life? I would be lost. Lost to my own accord, my own wisdom, my own desires. Without you dear Jesus, I would be self-absorbed in my own ways. Lost in my own world. I would be totally lost. Yet you sought me, pursued me, loved me, died for me, gave yourself for me. Even when I stumble, you pick me up, love me for who I am. In you dear Jesus I find purpose and hope. In you Jesus there is life. Help me to make you my heart’s desire, to seek you each day; to fill myself with your desires and your purposes. Help me to be about your ways and your kingdom. Forgive me when I am distracted and wander from you. Never let me lose sight of you dear Lord.

O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places. – Psalm 43:3 (NASB)

  1. I love that is His job to grow us and us to receive the growth no matter the pace. Thanks God He adapt to the pace that fits our life always with the same intentions.

    1. Your comment reminds me of 2 Peter 3:9:
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (NIV).”
      Thanks for the comment. Blessings.
