Prayer Journey – Pure as Snow

I look at the new fallen snow and think of you dear Lord. You are pure, holy and righteous. Only you have the truth, only you possess true life. You are as pure as the new fallen snow. Next to you, I am but a gray shadow against the snow; a stain that discolors your purity. There is no way to cleanse myself but through you Lord Jesus. I am forever grateful for your grace and love; that you willingly died for me to to give me life. You saved me and for this I am grateful.

Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. – Psalm 51:6-7 (NASB)

  1. Only a God so great and filled with compassion could make me pure in His presence! Thanks for this. Allow me to add Isaiah 1:18b (NIV) to this:
“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, thay shall be like wool.” The promise of salvation brought to us through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!
    Blessings,
