“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:4-7 (NIV)
Thank you Lord that you are a refuge, a fortress in times of distress. Thank you for the peace you provide in the midst of stressful situations. Take time today to give thanks to the Lord God for the blessings he has given you. If you are so inclined, make a comment on something you are thankful for this week.

All praise to God for his wonderous deeds.
I am grateful for fellow bloggers, such as yourself, praising God and giving Him glory. And, as you say, “as iron sharpeneth iron…”
Amen!
I am thankful for the Lord’s grace, mercy, peace, and forgiveness. What a glorious peace! God bless!
What a great group to be part of. It reminds me of Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
I’m thankful this morning for the Christian fellowship shared at a monthly reunion meeting last night with a group of guys who have experienced a weekend retreat together. I am so encouraged and instructed when men share the truths from Scripture that God has been showing them…and that they pass along to the rest of us. God’s discipline for those of us who are His children…dearly loved…Hebrews 12.
Amen
Amen!
Praise God for the faithful people he places in our life.
I am grateful for the wonderful wife God has given me; for her strong faith and gentle ways of showing His love always.
Blessings,
Chuck
