The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. – Psalm 23:1, NASB
Jesus is my shepherd, the one I trust in. With Jesus by my side, what more could I want or need. He can fulfill every want, every need if I let Him. He is my constant companion, full of mercy and love. He is gracious, seeking me when I am lost, leaving behind the ninety nine to find me. When no one else is there, you are with me. When all have abandoned me, you are there. You’ve never left my side, even when I’ve left you. You are my shepherd, my caretaker. You know my every want, my every need. You provide exactly what I need each day. What more could I want but you dear Jesus.
