This Moment

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6

May you be immersed in this moment and truly reflect on the wonderful news of a savior born so long ago yet alive today in your midst. May you seize this moment and truly see the hope Jesus offers you, the eternal hope. May your heart yearn to be filled with the Spirit of God, a deep desire to draw closer to Jesus. May you thirst for His living water instead of the things of this earth. In this moment may you relish the true significance of Christmas and not hesitate to share this good news with those around you this day.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15, NIV
