When God calls us to complete a task, he will provide all you need to complete that task. We may not see it at the moment he calls us to act, but he wants us to step out in faith and obedience, trusting Him to provide.
In 1 Chronicles 28, David assembled all the officials of Israel to communicate that he was handing over the construction of the temple to Solomon. Everything Solomon needed to build the temple was staged and ready. In verse 20, David told Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.”
These words should encourage us when God is calling us to pursue a specific task. It may seem overwhelming, and you may feel unprepared or lacking the necessary skills, but God wants you to be “strong and courageous, and act.” God will not abandon you. He will be faithful and guide you to the completion of the task he has called you to. He just asks for your obedience and trust.
As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. – 1 Chronicles 28:9
