Home–Praying through Psalm 23

This post concludes the series praying through Psalm 23.

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. – Psalm 23:6

At times I have felt I did not belong anywhere. Restless and wandering, in search of stability in an unstable world. I have called many places home, but something inside told me it wasn’t my true home. You graciously taught me about your ways and nurtured me in faith in you dear Jesus. You told me that your Father’s place has many rooms, that you have prepared a place for me. There is a certain calm, a peace in knowing I have an eternal home where I will dwell forever with you dear Lord. A place where there will be no more tears, no more crying, no more pain or sorrow. A final resting place to call home.

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. – John 14:2, NASB
