A single light bulb; a dim light on a small lamp; a weak substitute for your light dear Lord. I wait in anticipation for the dawn when your light will chase away the darkness. The sun emerging, rising above the horizon; illuminating all the earth. The hope of your morning light touching all who walk this earth in darkness. My prayer that they will have eyes to see, to hear, to feel your presence. May the power of your light, the warmth of your Spirit, deeply penetrate and soften the hardened heart. May they know you dear Jesus, and believe in you. Bring new life to these tired souls. May they exchange their dim light for your light dear Lord.
So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; and he took food and was strengthened. – Acts 9:17-19
Reminds me of Malachi 4:2, “But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.” Amen.
May we continue to feed on the Word of God. Thanks for sharing that verse. Blessings.
Amen! 🙏 Lord, let your light shine.
Praise God for His light! May it shine brightly in the darkness. Blessings.
