Prayer Journey—Love

During the next few weeks, each Monday I will be praying through the fruit of the Spirit, focusing on one word in Galatians 5:22-23. Today’s word is love.

Thank you dear God for your love and grace; for the love and compassion expressed by your son Jesus. It’s hard to fathom the depths of your love—your love expressed through the death and resurrection of your son Jesus. Your love knows no bounds. You are steadfast. Your love never fails. You continuously reach out to people, even though they reject you. Help me dear God to love others as you love them. Give me eyes to see others as you see them. Fill me with your Spirit dear God so your love overflows into the lives of others. Thank you for the love and grace you bless us with each day.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23, NASB
