Does my heart ache as yours dear God for those who do not know you; for those who reject you; for those who refuse to accept your son Jesus? You long for those far from you to return to you. You desire the lost to seek you. You yearn to lavish them with your love and grace if only they would accept it. Fill me with your wisdom dear God so I can show them the peace you offer. Give me your words of life that rise above senseless debates. Guide me on how not to throw pearls to swine, but to cast the seeds of your Word in fertile soil. May I be a good steward of what you have entrusted to me, multiplying it for the benefit of your kingdom.
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. – Matthew 7:6 (NASB)
Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. – 2 Timothy 2:23-24 (NIV)
Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:8 (NASB)
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:9 (NASB)
