In a moment of silence, close your eyes and focus on God’s love for you. Can you feel it? God’s loving embrace around your tired and exhausted body, holding you up with His strength; no longer struggling to hold yourself up, now held by God. He looks at you with loving eyes and says, “I created you, formed you, knew you before you were born.” He knows your pain, your hurt, your shattered state, emotionally drained. He wants to refresh you with living water—sooth your parched soul. Take a moment, in the quiet, to feel the love of God surround you.

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. – Mark 4:39
I’m re-learning how to do this. Thank you for the reminder and opportunity to do it.
“But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” – Psalm 5:11. Blessings.
